The door opens to a muddy, tree lined bank. The lake waves make plopping sounds as they lap against the shore and the air is filled with the sounds of insects and lake birds.
It's secluded enough, the tree line dark and save for the floating bits of wreckage not far off shore the waters are empty. Dusk is nearing and it is cool but not cold yet.
When Hellboy steps through the door he sinks to the tops of his boots in the soft mud. Looking down he grumbles and lifts a leg to pull it free.
"Welcome to Monster Island, home of snakes, beavers and our friend the Ogogpogo."

"I'm gonna need a high pressure hose for my joints before I go home," he mutters.

"Um...there's some trees over there? We're kind of on the other side of the lake from the swimming area and all that. Sorry."
He then turns to the noise and Ironhide and looks up, "Okay, I'm impressed."
Giving an appropriate nod of approval at Ironhide Hellboy puts out his cigar on his stone fist and tucks it into his coat. "Sorry about the mud, I wasn't exactly sure where we were going to come through at. I got tossed in through the door so wasn't sure how it'd turn out going the other way."

It's easier to pull your foot out of plasma-scorched clay than just mud.

"I don't mind. I'm fireproof and don't care much for mud myself. Long as we don't boil the lake or burn down the forest who's gonna care?"
Concern about property damage is really low on Hellboy's priorities list. That he's showing as much restraint on this mission as he has so far is a miracle really.

Someone will eventually explain that scorched earth area as being of alien origin. They'll be right, technically. Anyway, Ironhide extracts himself from the muck, tests his balance, and glances to Lissar. "No clue. Red, what's your preference?"

"If you can do it let's do it. I'd sure like to see that." He encourages her.

Hey, just because he doesn't do projectile weapons doesn't mean he can't approve of a good clean arc.

"It's not warm blooded, we had to track it with sonar. Got a neck like a serpent, head like a horse with a whole lot of teeth and a scruffy beard, kind of like a chinese dragon if you've ever seen them. And a long...whipping tail..." He trails off as something in the water flicks and pulls underneath the surface.
"Gotta watch the tail." He smirks and moves the rope he's been carrying off his shoulder. "Heads up."

The entrance to the cave she's swimming past is mostly underwater, dark with deep waters infront of it and running back into the hidden caverns.
In those dark waters something watches the white suited figure paddling around. Resting with most of its bulk below the surface, only the lazy end of its tail amongst the reeds, it tracks her movements.
When it's clear she's not moving on the creature dives deeper, pulling its tail underwater and coming about in a wide arc around the swimming woman, maw opening as it starts to rush towards the surface and her.

Arcing like a dolphin it cuts back towards the lake to seize its prey from above.

"Better get it or hope that thing swallows meals whole."

She doesn't scream. She wishes she hand the extra breath.

We say five because the other ninety-five have been devoted to things like target acquired and locked and commence laser cannon fire along the beast's length. It might have reflexes kick in after the first shot, but Ironhide's been upgraded over the millennia into one hell of a war machine. He's got reflexes of his own.
